Sonic The Hedgehog has changed a bit since the first trailer for his movie.

Delayed from its originally-planned pre-Christmas release after the backlash against its first trailer, the Sonic The Hedgehog movie has clearly undergone some late in the day changes. Well, one in particular.

Presumably animators have been working around the clock to rework the visual look of the title character, and now we have a new trailer for the film that demonstrates their upgraded efforts.

The movie lands in UK cinemas on February 14th, with Jeff Fowler directing. And here’s the new trailer for the film…

Its synopsis, meanwhile, reads as follows…

Based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG tells the story of the world’s speediest hedgehog as he embraces his new home on Earth. In this live-action adventure comedy, Sonic and his new best friend Tom (James Marsden) team up to defend the planet from the evil genius Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) and his plans for world domination. The family-friendly film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.

More on the movie in due course…
