The Alison Brie-headlined romcom Spin Me Round, co-written by Alison Brie, will see an ensemble cast partake in fun and frolics in Italy
Alison Brie, perhaps best known for her roles in Community and GLOW, is no stranger to screenwriting, having co-written the 2020 Netflix psychological drama film Horse Girl with Jeff Baena.
Now, Brie and Baena are teaming up once more to co-write Spin Me Round. Directed by Baena, the film’s official synopsis reads:
“Brie stars as the manager of an Italian restaurant chain who wins the opportunity to attend the franchise’s educational immersion program in Italy. What she thought would be a romantic getaway devolves into chaos and catastrophe”.
Co-starring are Aubrey Plaza, Alessandro Nivola, Zach Woods, Molly Shannon and Debby Ryan.
Spin Me Round is due to be released on demand on the 19th August.
