Here’s the trailer for Stairs, a film that marks the acting debut of former X-Factor winner Shayne Ward.
With the impending Arrow Video Frightfest in London at the end of August, lots of British horror productions are getting their debut and jostling for attention. One of them is Stairs, a new marriage of time travel and horror movie.
It’s the latest from director Tom Paton, who has attracted a cast led by Shayne Ward and Toby Osmond. Also in the ensemble are Sophie Austin, Samantha Schnitzler and Bentley Kalu.
The plot? It follows a group of mercenaries who are sent into Eastern Europe in the middle of a civil war to retrieve intel. But shortly after that, they find themselves trapped on a never-ending stairwell; forced to climb or die. To survive, they must revisit their past sins if they ever want to get off.
The trailer for the film – and be warned, it’s a red band trailer, so not for easily corrupted eyes – is right here.
The movie premieres at Frightfest. No word yet on a broader release, but Paton isn’t resting: he’s already in post-production on his next feature, G-LOC. More on that as we hear it.
