Five Stanley Kubrick films are being brought together in a single 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray boxset – more information on the release right here.

If you’ve not picked up the films separately, five movies from the work of director Stanley Kubrick are now being brought together in a new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray boxset next month.

The five films are Spartacus, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining and Full Metal Jacket. All of these have already been released on the format, and we’re assuming that it’s a bringing together of what’s already out there rather than adding any new extra features.

The set will also include Blu-ray discs as well as 4Ks too, and has been earmarked for release on November 22nd 2021.

The only Kubrick 4K release that won’t be included is Columbia’s Doctor Strangelove, that’s still only available as part of the Columbia Classics Vol 1 set, a set that’s long gone out of print. Long past time for a standalone release, that one.

The five-disc set, anyway, will set you back £80. You can find out more information and preorder a copy right here.
