Steven Soderbergh has surprised fans by announcing a new secret film, debuting this week at Toronto International Film Festival.

Never one to take a rest, Steven Soderbergh is set to debut a brand new secret film at this weeks Toronto International Film Festival.

Details of the film are still to be released, but the heads at TIFF set it had been a ‘top secret’ plan with Soderbergh to make it happen. “It wouldn’t be TIFF if we didn’t have a surprise element to tease out — and this year it’s coming from a TIFF friend, Steven Soderbergh,” Joana Vicente and Cameron Bailey said, in a statement announcing the special event.

This is his second film in 2021, with No Sudden Move releasing in the States earlier this summer (No Sudden Move is headed to Sky Cinema in the UK, hopefully this October).

More on this new film as we hear it!
