The trailer for Tom McCarthy’s newest film Stillwater, starring Matt Damon has been released.
A trailer for the latest Matt Damon film, Stillwater, has been released this afternoon. Also starring Abigail Breslin and Camille Cottin, the film follows an American father who travels to France to to exonerate his daughter who is being held for killing her roommate – something she did not do.
McCarthy’s most notable work is the Academy Award winning Spotlight which focussed on the news investigation in to crimes committed by Catholic priests in Boston. Based on the trailer for Stillwater, he’s upping the action in this film with plenty of action and tense drama hinted at.
Check it out for yourself below. Stillwater will be released in cinemas on the 6th August.
