Sylvester Stallone has revealed that a Demolition Man sequel is happening, with Warner Bros once again involved in the project.

Well, with the planet still pretty much on lockdown and cinemas still closed, we’ve been on the lookout for as much positive news as we can find. And boy, we might just have found some.

There’s been a chat a week or two back with writer Daniel Waters over at Vulture, where he revealed that he’d had some ideas for a Demolition Man sequel that never came to fruition.

However, in his latest video Q&A session on Instagram, Sylvester Stallone has gone a bit further. Quite a bit further as it happens: he’s confirmed that Demolition Man 2 is actually an active project.

Warner Bros, the studio that backed the original movie, is involved. “They’re working on it right now with Warner Bros and it’s looking fantastic”, he said.

“That should come out, it’s going to happen”, he casually dropped in. Crikey!

Go to around 5 and a half minutes into this and hear it from the man himself…
