Plans are afoot for a new Rocky sequel.
A few months after Sylvester Stallone said that he wasn’t going to play the role of Rocky Balboa again, it looks as though Sylvester Stallone is set to play the role of Rocky Balboa again.
Whilst on the promotional trailer for his upcoming feature Rambo: Last Blood, Stallone has now revealed that he’s considering another outing. Not, as you might expect, in a new sequel to the Creed line of spin-off films. Rather that there’s now talk of a Rocky 7, that would see an ageing Balboa training a young street fighter, who happens to be illegally living in America.
The plan is for Stallone to pen the script and star in the film.
Separately, there’s also talk of a Rocky television prequel series. No timeline has been revealed on the projects, but as we hear more, we’ll let you know.
