Filming of The Batman continues in Glasgow, and we’ve caught some images of the weekend stunt work.

As the filming of Matt Reeves’, The Batman continues to turn the gothic locales of Glasgow into the Caped Crusader’s Gotham, there’s been the opportunity to capture images of the shoot playing out on the streets of the city. An opportunity we took.

The images reveal Robert Pattinson’s Batcycle in the film, and it aligns with the sharp aesthetic that his stunt double has been demonstrating in Glasgow’s city necropolis.

Torrential rain and strong winds dampened the set over the weekend, but could not stop the hard work of the cast, crew and stunt artists.  Thus, later on Saturday evening a masked stuntwoman on a motorcycle was pursued down the city’s Wishart Street in one sequence. Could this be our first sign of Catwoman?

While Robert Pattinson’s Batman and Zoe Kravitz’ Catwoman are yet to be spotted on set it seems this is the production is ramping up to night and day shoots with the two stars. While Glasgow has been home to many Hollywood productions in the last few years, its turn as Gotham might be its best cinematic alter ego yet.

Here are the images we snapped…

The Batman will be released in Summer 2021.
