Universal will be releasing The Blues Brothers on the Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray format in the UK, to salute the film’s 40th birthday.
After what’s been a relatively sparse first half of the year for catalogue Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray release, Universal has been busying itself with a host of new announcements as of late. And another title from its archives has now been confirmed for UK 4K disc release.
That film, as you’ve guessed from the headline, is The Blues Brothers, and to celebrate the movie’s 40th birthday, it’ll be getting both the theatrical and extended versions of the film presented on the disc in 4K. That, along with a bunch of bonus features too.
The film is up for preorder now, with a release date of June 15th 2020. You can find the listing for it right here.
