The new take on The Craft will head to cinemas in the UK and on demand in the US – and here’s the first trailer for the movie.

Only a day after we reported that The Craft: Legacy, Blumhouse’s upcoming re-imagining of the popular 90s teen horror, would be skipping cinemas in the US and heading straight to a VoD release, the trailer has been released ahead of the film’s launch on October 28th. However, in the UK it’s now also been confirmed that the film will be going to cinemas.

Fans of the original will certainly spot a few similarities, but we’ll have to wait until close to Halloween to see if the film measures up to its predecessor.

In the meantime, check out the trailer below, which marks another release for the ever-busy Blumhouse Productions…

Here’s the synopsis too..

In Blumhouse’s continuation of the cult hit The Craft, an eclectic foursome of aspiring teenage witches get more than they bargained for as they lean into their newfound
powers.

Zoe Lister-Jones writes and directs the film, and more on it as we get it.
