The Criterion Collection confirms UK titles for July 2021

Three new releases get the Criterion Collection treatment in July 2021, including the all-time classic Bringing Up Baby.

Three more films are being added to the UK arm of The Criterion Collection in July, it’s been announced. So let’s do them in the order that they’re arriving.

First up in July 12th is Pariah from Dee Rees. The 2011 American movie features Adepero Oduye in the lead role, and the Criterion release comes with a new conversation feature, a cast reunion, a look at the making of the film, an essay and a new interview. Next up on July 26th is the classic screwball comedy Bringing Up Baby, starring Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn. Directed by Howard Hawks and made all the way back in 1938, as well as the film you get new interviews, a commentary, a video essay and archive interviews too. More on that here.

Finally, on the same date, there’s The Mirror from Andrei Tarkovsky. The 1975 Russian movie comes back to disc with documentaries and archive interviews, as well as a new essay. You can see the listing for that here.
