Downton Abbey: The Movie will be uncut when it arrives in cinemas, sporting a PG certificate.

Expect Universal Pictures to be sitting on no shortage of cash when the long-mooted Downton Abbey movie makes its way into cinemas next month.

The film, directed by Michael Engler, brings together the cast from the hugely popular TV show, with Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Maggie Smith, Laura Carmichael, Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt and Brendan Coyle leading the ensemble.

Furthermore, the film has now been confirmed by the BBFC to have a broad, family-friendly PG certificate, that it’s earned for “mild threat” and “language”. The running time too has been confirmed at 122 minutes and 16 seconds, including the credits.

No cuts were made to the film to secure its PG, and it’ll be in cinemas on September 13th.
