Wes Anderson’s awards hopeful The French Dispatch is set to land on the Disney+ streaming platform next month – although disc details aren’t yet known.

After enjoying a solid box office run last autumn – in turning following a pandemic-enforced delay – Wes Anderson’s latest film The French Dispatch is now on its way to the Disney+ streaming service.

It’s taken slightly longer to get there than recent Disney-backed releases such as The Last Duel and The King’s Man (the latter of which debuts on the service in February too). But then The French Dispatch is in the midst of an awards run too, and has been soaking up money on the art house and independent circuit. Anderson, meanwhile, has gone off and made another film while all that’s been happening.

Anyway, bottom line – if you’ve not had the pleasure of the film yet, it’s coming to Disney+ from February 16th. We expect a physical media release to follow not too long after that.

More on the eventual disc release as we hear it.
