The Godfather trilogy isn’t just coming back to cinemas, it’s heading to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray as well – more details on the release right here.

The 50th anniversary celebration of The Godfather is being marked by the entire trilogy getting a re-release in cinemas this year – and also the films coming to the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format for the first time.

Paramount is releasing a pair of boxsets of the trilogy. The standard release comes with all three films (and, we understand, both cuts of the third movie), as well as a trove of extra features. Then there’s the posh collector’s edition, which comes with a £40 premium, art cards, a book and special packaging.

The release date for both sets is March 21st, and they’re up for order now.

You can find out more about the standard set and order a copy here, or pick up the collector’s box here. Both are available to order now.
