The 1999 movie The Green Mile, starring Michael Clarke Duncan and Tom Hanks, is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK.

Warner Bros is kicking off its catalogue 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray releases for 2022 with a release of 1999’s acclaimed The Green Mile.

Directed by Frank Darabont and based on the book(s) by Stephen King, The Green Mile reunited the pair following The Shawshank Redemption, with Tom Hanks taking on the lead role. That said, it was a breakthrough screen role for the late Michael Clarke Duncan, who earned a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his work in the film.

The remastered 4K version lands on disc in the UK on March 7th, in an Ultimate Collector’s Edition. That means it’s going to cost £35 for a package that includes the film, a 32 page booklet, two art cards, a double sided poster, a Blu-ray disc too and posh packaging.

It’s available to order here, where you can also find more information on the release.
