The third Kingsman film, The King’s Man, is firmly on the release schedules still for September – and two new posters have landed.

Heading into cinemas in September – and it looks like this is a date that’s not wavering – is the third film in Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman series of films. This one, though, is set to be a prequel to the first two movies, telling the story of the independent intelligence agency’s first mission.

Vaughn is directing once again, and co-wrote the script with Karl Gajdusek. The impressive cast this time includes Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou and Charles Dance.

Here , then, is a pair of new posters for the movie that popped up at the end of last week. Note that there’s no firm release date on this, and we’re just getting the ‘in cinemas soon’ message instead…

In June, we got a new trailer for the film and a synopsis too. We’ll do them in order, trailer first…

And the synopsis reads as follows…

As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in “The King’s Man.”

The film is in cinemas – in theory – in the UK from September 16th. More as we hear it.
