The Krays, starring Gary and Martin Kemp, is getting a features-packed new Blu-ray release this coming July.

The 1990 movie telling of the story of Ronnie and Reggie Kray – entitled The Krays – is perhaps the highest profile feature to date to explore the story of the infamous London gangsters. Whilst Tom Hardy had a go at playing both of them in Legend, it was the casting of Gary and Martin Kemp – then best known as pop singers – that really generated the headlines.

The subsequent film, directed by Peter Medak, was a hit for the UK film industry at a time when such things were in very short supply. And now, 31 years later, the film is getting a limited edition special Blu-ray release, courtesy of Second Sight films.

It comes with some new extra features as well as archive materials and a 2015 BFI Q&A, and the package itself has new artwork and includes six art cards as well.

It’s all set for release on July 12th 2021, and you can find out more – and order yourself a copy – right here.
