The classic Ealing comedy The Ladykillers is heading back into cinemas before getting and Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray release too.

Here’s an excellent surprise. The classic Ealing Studios comedy The Ladykillers is 65 years old (that bit’s not the surprise), and StudioCanal has confirmed that it’s the latest title it’s adding to its range of 4K releases.

The film has had its first ever 4K restoration and will be getting a cinema re-release on October 23rd. Then, from November 9th, you’ll be able to buy the new restoration on DVD, Blu-ray, digital download and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray as well.

The 4K disc is a particular surprise, and StudioCanal will be launching that version in a special collectors’ set. And it looks really something too. Here’s the list of extra features (…
