Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel is now available to watch on the Disney+ streaming service, with a disc release imminent as well.

Perhaps bringing to an end the saga of The Last Duel and what was behind its failure to hit at the box office, Ridley Scott’s 14th century drama has now landed on the Disney+ service, where it’s available for streaming.

Scott had, of course, had a few words over the commercial disappointment of the movie, implying that he felt a cellphone-addicted generation had not been helpful to The Last Duel’s fortunes. But on the upside, the film is now available to watch on a cellphone, and thus millenians and their ilk – tsk – will finally be able to see it.

The film, in the UK at least, had what felt like a very quick cinema release. It’s one of the few movies of the last few months that we’ve not even been alerted to a press screening of, and there wasn’t a whole lot of marketing presence for it to our anecdotal eye.

If you’d prefer the film on physical media, then it’s available from Monday on DVD and Blu-ray. You can find more on that here.
