The trailer for Edgar Wright’s Last Night In Soho has been released.

Writer/director Edgar Wright’s latest film Last Night In Soho finally has a trailer. The film, initially due for release in 2020 marks his seventh feature film, with his documentary The Sparks Brothers due out this July.

Typically known for his his comedy films, Last Night In Soho looks distinctly darker and also marks his first female led film with Anya Taylor-Joy (Emma.) and Thomasin McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit) starring in what looks to be a dual role.

The trailer oozes old school glamour, with hints of his more recent work like Baby Driver as well as sinister horror elements that we know he handles well in any genre. The cast list is equally impressive, with Wright continuing his habit of picking young and upcoming stars for his features.

The plot for any that don’t know –

A young girl, passionate about fashion design, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960s London is not what it seems, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences.

We’ll stop going on and let you watch the trailer below.

Last Night In Soho is out in cinemas this October.
