Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe star in a film that’s, er, perhaps not best for isolation – and The Lighthouse is heading to disc in June.

If you’re current stuck in some degree of isolation or lockdown, as pretty much most of us are at this point in time, then you might just need a film to cheer you up and make you feel a bit safer.

Er, The Lighthouse isn’t it. Robert Eggers’ mesmerising horror thriller sees Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson as a pair of lighthouse keepers, stuck on a remote island in the 1890s. An approaching storm helps fuel the distrust between the two, and we ain’t saying another thing about it. This is a film where the least you know, the better.

The movie isn’t one of this year’s films that was fast-tracked for a digital release in the current climate. Thus, the home release of the film will not be landing until June. It’ll be available on DVD and Blu-ray, with a release date of June 8th earmarked.

No word on extra features as of yet, but as we hear more, we’ll let you know…
