The Sopranos spin-off movie The Many Saints Of Newark will be heading to physical media in the UK in time for Christmas.

Fresh from its cinema outing, the prequel movie to The Sopranos is heading to home formats just in time for Christmas.

The film is The Many Saints Of Newark, and it seems to have gone rather well. Alan Taylor’s directed it, and Michael Gandolfini steps into the role of Tony Soprano that was realised on screen by his late father.

The disc release has been earmarked for December 13th, and it’s getting an outing on three different formats: DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray as well.

On the DVD, the sole extra feature is listed as some deleted scenes (couldn’t tell you how many). The Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray versions also include deleted scenes, as well as a making of featurette, and a piece described as ‘Sopranos family honor’.

The film is available for preorder now, and you can find more information – and get yourself a copy – here.
