Catherine Tate headlines The Nan Movie, which is arriving on DVD and Blu-ray in June – no director’s cut on the disc though.

There’s still a story waiting to be told about just what happened behind the scenes of The Nan Movie. The big screen outing for one of Catherine Tate’s most popular characters was directed by Josie Rourke, who’d previously helmed the Oscar-nominated Mary Queen Of Scots.

However, the film then changed, seemingly a lot, after the original cut was delivered. Reshoots took place, and by the time the movie arrived in cinemas earlier this year, Rourke’s name was missing where the director credit was supposed to be. In fact, there was no director credit, with The Nan Movie instead listed as ‘a Catherine Tate film’.

It may be a while before the full story comes out, and we don’t expect any extra features on the disc release. But the disc release is nearly here that notwithstanding. The Nan Movie is arriving on DVD and Blu-ray on June 13th 2022, and is now available to order.

No extra features are currently listed, and you can find more information – and pick a copy up – right here.
