Armando Iannucci’s David Copperfield movie is heading to disc in June.
After enjoying significant success at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) at the end of last year, it was something of a surprise that the rest of awards season wasn’t as interested in Armando Iannucci’s big screen take on Charles Dickens’ David Copperfield. The film The Personal History Of David Copperfield, with Dev Patel leading an impressive ensemble, nonetheless earned strong reviews and did decent business at the UK box office.
And now we have details of its disc release.
Whilst there’s not as yet been a formal announcement, the film is up for pre-order on DVD and Blu-ray, with a release date of June 15th 2020 revealed. Expect the digital release of the film a week or two before that. Furthermore, no details of extra features have thus far been announced, but we’ll bring those to you when we get them.
