The BFI is bringing John Hillcoat’s 2005 movie The Proposition to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray – more here.
As this news story is being penned, it’s a week or two since the British Film Institute – the BFI to most of us – has got into the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray business. It’s released the all time classic The Seventh Seal on the format, and you can find that here.
What’s more, it’s wasted little time revealing its follow-up title.
It’s going to be – as you can probably guess from the headline – John Hillcoat’s movie The Proposition, that was penned by Nick Cave and released back in 2005. And the release – which is due on February 21st 2022 – is coming with a fair few extra features too.
You can find full details of it, and order yourself a copy, right here.
Here though is the extras list, and then we’ll leave you with the box art…
- Limited edition with bespoke packaging
- 4K (2160p) UDH Blu-ray feature presentation in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible)
- High Definition Blu-ray disc (featuring extras only)
- Audio commentary by John Hillcoat and Nick Cave
