The fifth Purge film apparently has the title The Forever Purge, and we’ve no idea what that means either.

Currently still scheduled for release this summer is the next film in The Purge series of movies. From a modest beginning, this has turned into quite the franchise for Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions, and the fifth movie has been going by the name ‘Untitled Purge Sequel’ for a little while now.

The new movie is penned by the series creator James DeMonaco, and this time Everardo Gout is directing. And a piece over at The Hollywood Reporter has let slip just what the name of the new movie is going to be.

As you can probably gleam from the headline to this article – our clickbait game is pretty terrible – the film is to be known as The Forever Purge. Quite what that means at this stage is anybody’s guess. What we do know is that the movie is one of the few still on the schedules for the summer. Currently it’s due out on July 8th. That, of course, is very subject to change.

More on the movie as we hear it.
