Games are waiting to be played, as eight Saw films are getting a DVD and Blu-ray reissue – more details right here.

Unsurprisingly, given that the ninth film in the saga is heading to cinemas, Lionsgate isn’t missing the opportunity to bring all the Saw movies to date back to physical media.

As well as the previously-revealed Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray release of the original film, on May 17th it’ll be released what it’s calling the Saw: Legacy collection. The bottom line there is we’re getting all eight of the previously released movies in one Blu-ray box.

From what we can gleam, there’s nothing fresh in terms of extra features, but then the previous releases were hardly shy on this front. Thus, previous supplements look like they’re being carried over.

The set is available on DVD and Blu-ray, and you can find more information – and order yourself a copy – right here.

Spiral, the ninth Saw movie, goes on release at last in May.
