A full production of the Broadway and West End hit 42nd Street, starring Bonnie Langford, is streaming for free this weekend.

Now up to two productions a week, The Shows Must Go On programme of free streaming theatrical shows has now been running for just under nine months. The idea is that on every Friday night at least, a fresh show is made available for free streaming on YouTube. You then have a limited amount of time to watch the show in question, before it’s then removed and another show follows in due course.

This weekend, a full filmed production of the musical 42nd Street is debuting on the service. Headlined by Bonnie Langford, the production isn’t short of song and dance numbers (some understatement!), and you’ll be able to watch it in full from 7pm on Friday evening.

As is the norm with The Shows Must Go On weekend productions, you then have 48 hours to watch 42nd Street. As such, if you’re planning to see this one, then you need to start watching it by Sunday afternoon.

You can find it in the window below from Friday at 7pm. Or click through if you want to see it directly on YouTube…
