The ongoing programming of free streaming musicals and musical productions will be screening a concert from Michael Ball this weekend.

Last Friday saw the return of The Shows Must Go On, the programme of streaming musicals and musical productions that have been showing for free on YouTube. Launched by Baron Lord Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber back when the UK first went into lockdown in March, every Friday we’ve had a free show to watch for 48 hours.

The Shows Must Go On had a summer break, and following last week’s return with Fame!, it’s been confirmed that this weekend’s production is a Michael Ball concert. It’ll be a filmed version of the Michael Ball: Past & Present Tour, that was shot back in 2009. Ball sings a collection of songs from the many shows he’s been involved with, as well as an assortment of musical hits.

The show will be made available at The Shows Must Go On YouTube channel from 7pm on Friday. It’ll be made available for 48 hours to watch, entirely free of charge.

You’ll be able to see it here, or click through to YouTube to see it there…

You’ve got until Sunday evening to watch it once it goes live. Then, a fresh show will be uploaded a week on Friday. More on that closer to the time.
