A boxset of nine musical productions is heading to disc this November – more details on the collection right this way.

Over the course of the year, The Shows Must Go On YouTube channel has been showcasing filmed versions of stage musicals and musical concerts. It’s all been part of an initiative that began during lockdown whereby each week a free production streamed on YouTube every weekend. All to fundraise for the theatre industry, whose doors remain shut.

Now, a DVD boxset of nine of those productions is set to go on sale, if you’re in the market for a festive gift for a musicals fan.

The set, which goes on sale from November 23rd, includes concerts of Phantom Of The Opera and Les Miserables, as well as recorded productions of Love Never Dies, Jesus Christ Superstar, By Jeeves, Miss Saigon, Cats (not that one) and Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. That, and a concert of Andrew Lloyd Webber works that was performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

All of these have been released individually in the past, but now they’re gathered together in one posh boxset. You can find out more and/or pre-order the set right here.
