A collection of West End talent comes together for this weekend’s The Shows Must Go On free streaming performance – details here.

It’s been a busy week for The Shows Must Go On, the ongoing programme of free musical productions that have been arriving on YouTube these past months. The idea is simple: that for a limited period, a show, play or concert is made available on a special YouTube channel, and you have a few days to watch the production in question before it’s taken down.

This week already, Sir Patrick Stewart has been headlining a production of Macbeth that’s still available to watch.

And this weekend, we’re getting a special West End Unplugged show. This is volume two, following the first collection that was running last weekend. And it brings together the talents of a bunch of West End performers to sing songs from the shows.

The production goes live from 7pm on Friday. You then have 48 hours to watch the show before it’s removed, so you need to wrap your eyes around this one by Sunday afternoon.

You can find the show in the window below, or click through to watch it directly on YouTube. And another musical will be along next weekend, which we’ll have details on closer to the time.
