A collection of West End stars come together for this weekend’s The Shows Must Go On free streaming musical production – details here.

The Shows Must Go On programme of free streaming performances every weekend continues, and shows no sign of stopping down. Introduced way back in the spring when the UK went into lockdown for the first time, the idea is that each Friday, a new musical or musical production is made available for free streaming on YouTube. You then have a limited period of time to watch it, before it’s taken down again and a new show arrives a week later.

This evening, supporting Backup, Help Musicians UK and the Theatre Artists Fund, we’re getting a special compilation of numbers from a whole bunch of hit West End shows.

Going under the title West End Unplugged – Volume 1 (and by that we’re going to cunningly conclude that a volume 2 may be on the way in the future), the performance brings together a host of West End stars for a whole lot of music.

As always, the fun starts at 7pm on Friday night, and then it’ll be available for 48 hours. That means you’ve got until Sunday afternoon to get this watched.

The show will appear in the window below, or click through if you want to see it directly on YouTube. And there’ll be another production along next weekend.
