20th Century Fox takes the unusual step of explaining why a 15-rated film has earned an 18 for its disc release.

I can’t say I was much of a fan of 2018’s The Predator. The attempt to bring a much-loved movie franchise back to the screen was a deeply unpleasant, flat out fumble for me. I figure it’s best to be up front about such things.

The disc that’s gone on sale in UK stores has been given an 18 certificate by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC). Oddly, though, that’s not for the film, that was rated 15 in cinemas. Instead, the 18 has been given for a single trailer – for The Predator! – that appears on the disc.
