Tom Holland is still set to star in the Uncharted movie, but lord knows who’s going to direct it now.

Well, crikey. Sony has ambitious plans to bring its Uncharted series of hit PlayStation games to the big screen, even though it’s taken a fair amount of time just to get this far.

Tom Holland has signed on to star in the movie, that’s the maiden project for Sony’s new Sony PlayStation Productions arm. The plan remains for Sony to get the film shooting early next year, and a Deadline report suggests that work is underway to secure another director, and to have them in place for the end of the summer. When we learn who that new helmer is, we’ll let you know…
