There’s Something About Movies is back

Series three of the excellent panel show There’s Something About Movies is now underway – and it’s still on fine form as well.

We’ve nattered before on this very site about the Sky One panel show There’s Something About Movies, but it turns out that the third series of the show has started. And we hadn’t noticed. Shame on us.

The new series was filmed over the summer – observing social distancing rules – and as such the studio audience is virtual and there’s a bit of spacing happening on set. Still, it doesn’t seem to have dampened the fun, and the first two episodes of the show have now been screened.

It’s going out on Sky One on Wednesday evenings and catch-up. Alan Carr is the host, with regular panellists Jennifer Saunders, Michael Sheen and Tom Allen. There’s a mix of guests on top of that, with Jonathan Ross and Gemma Arterton on the first episode.

The new run should also include a Christmas special, and the first episodes are on catch-up now.
