Jennifer Saunders, Alan Carr, Michael Sheen and Tom Allen are all returning for the new run of There’s Something About Movies.

For some time now, I’ve been banging the drum for the Sky One panel show There’s Something About Movies (this piece is 18 months old, for a start). I confess to being nonplussed when it was first announced, but the hour-long shows that have followed have proven a real, real treat.

Now comes the news that Sky has ordered a fourth series run of the show, that again will be hosted by Alan Carr. The team captains are back too, with Jennifer Saunders and Michael Sheen taking charge of their respective sides. Regular panelist Tom Allen has been confirmed to come back as well.

What we don’t know yet is who the other special guests will be in the new series run, although confirmation of those will be following shortly. For now, we know that filming on the new run will be getting underway in April, and our guess is that we’ll see the fourth series of There’s Something About Movies on Sky One in the autumn.

We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
