The new Three Men And A Baby film will be led by Zac Efron, and Mo Marable has just signed on the dotted line to direct.

The remake of the 1987 hit Three Men And A Baby – itself a remake of the French original Trois Hommes Et Un Couffin – is pressing ahead at Disney+, with Zac Efron taking one of the three lead roles in the film.

There had been talk for a years of a third film involving the original cast of Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson, that would have gone under the name Three Men And A Bride, but Disney has gone for the reboot option instead. Will Reichel has penned the script for the new movie, and we now learn that Mo Marable has signed on to direct the film.

Marable has been directing a lot of television of late, working on the TV show Brockmire. Presumably once the other men and the baby have been found, this one’s going to be going ahead at some point this year. If they get their skates on, they might be able to have the movie on Disney+ by the end of the year. Don’t hold us to that though.

More as we hear it.
