Batman, Batman Returns and The Dark Knight trilogy are all getting new collector’s edition 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray releases in the UK.
Over the weekend, Matt Reeves’ new standalone Batman movie, cunningly entitled The Batman, helped itself to an awful lot of money, off the back of generally ecstatic reviews. Warner Bros is expected to have the film on home entertainment formats this side of summer too, but before that, it’s bringing five other Batman movies back to the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format, in new Ultimate Collector’s Edition sets.
Each of these appears to be a repackaging of the previous release, in a posh new pack with postcards, a booklet and other bits and bobs. There’s brand new packaging as well.
Thus, on June 27th 2022, we get Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, all of which are available to preorder now.
Batman Begins is here.
The Dark Knight is here.
The Dark Knight Rises is here.
And then on July 4th 2022 comes Tim Burton’s two Batman movies.
Batman can be found here.
Whilst Batman Returns is here.
There appear to be no immediate plans for similar editions of Batman Forever, Batman & Robin and Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, but obviously we’ll let you know more as we hear it. We’ll leave you with a sample of the packs…
