Idris Elba will take on a fearsome predator in Beast, and you can catch your first glimpse right here.
Just last week, Universal announced the release date for its upcoming adventure film, Beast. Now the studio has followed up with a trailer, giving us a preview of what to expect when Idris Elba takes on a massive lion in Beast. The movie charts the fortunes of a father and his two teenage daughters who find themselves hunted by the giant rogue predator in South Africa.
The film is directed by Baltasar Kormákur who helmed 2018’s Adrift and also stars the always entertaining Sharlto Copley. The announced release date for the film is August 22nd, 2022 but you can catch your first glimpse below.
We’re already marking this one down for a future triple-bill with 2019’s Crawl and The Shallows, the 2016 drama that featured a rather scary shark that enjoyed dining on surfers. We’ll bring you more on this one as we hear it.
