From writer/director Eva Riley comes Perfect 10, an acclaimed movie with a breakthrough performance from Frankie Box – and here’s the trailer.

Heading into cinemas this weekend is the debut directorial feature from Eva Riley, that goes by the name of Perfect 10. She also penned the script for the film, that also features a first time actor in the lead role, Frankie Box.

The film is being released this Friday in UK cinemas, and it very much sounds like it’s worth tracking down. As well as being in cinemas, you can also watch it via ‘virtual cinema’, of which you can find more about here.

Available August 7 in selected cinemas and to rent from Curzon Home Cinema, Modern Films and BFI Player. 14-year-old Leigh (Frankie Box) lives with her neglectful father on the outskirts of Brighton. She’s a talented gymnast, training hard for her first competition. When an older half-brother appears at her house one night, Leigh’s lonely existence is altered.
