The delayed comedy drama Limbo – set on a remote Scottish island – finally has a release date and a trailer to boot.

Limbo seems to have been in well, limbo, for quite some time. Originally set to release in September of last year, the film finally has a release date of April 30th and what’s more, we can catch our first glimpse of the highly-anticipated comedy drama that has been earning rave reviews on the festival circuit.

The film’s plot is described as such: ‘An offbeat observation of the refugee experience. On a fictional remote Scottish island, a group of new arrivals await the results of their asylum claims. Among them is Omar, a young Syrian musician burdened by the weight of his grandfather’s oud [a Middle Eastern lute], which he has carried all the way from his homeland.’

We’re really looking forward to this one and glad the film is finally visible on the horizon. You can catch the trailer below ahead of the film’s release next month.
