Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson team up in The Man From Toronto: what looks to be a throwback to the classic buddy movie.

Kevin Hart, playing in a similar vein of comedy he mined very successfully in the likes of Central Intelligence and Ride Along, stars alongside Woody Harrelson in The Man From Toronto. Harrelson stepped in after Jason Statham left the project in 2020.

Harrelson plays the world’s deadliest assassin, while Hart is described as a ‘screw up’. Their lives intertwine when their identities get mixed up at an Airbnb. Not much else is know, but it’s fair to assume that frenetic frolics ensue.

Rounding out the cast is The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco and Jasmine Mathews.

Patrick Hughes, who directed the tonally similar Hitman’s Bodyguard as well as The Expendables 3, directs from a screenplay by So I Married An Axe Murderer‘s Robbie Fox and Chris Bremner.

The film will be released on Netflix on 24th June. See the trailer below…
