The drama Four Good Days charts the story of a heroin junkie trying to detox – and here’s the trailer for the movie.

The trailer has landed for the powerful-looking Four Good Days, led by Glenn Close and Mila Kunis.

The film sees Kunis play a heroin addict who is trying to get access to medical treatment to help wean her off her addiction to the drug. However, she must continue to detox for four more days before gaining access to the treatment. Close plays her estranged mother who agrees to safeguard her through this period.

Director Rodrigo Garcia certainly has form in this area. His previous film, Forty Days In The Desert, dealt with the temptation of Christ by the devil as he fasted and prayed in, well, the desert. The themes of temptation and succumbing to one’s demons are certainly in Garcia’s wheelhouse and with two actors of the calibre of Kunis and Close, we’re looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds.

The film is set to release on April 30th in the US. No UK release details have yet been confirmed but in the meantime you can check out the trailer below.
