Catch your first glimpse of Joaquin Phoenix’s first role since his Oscar-winning turn in Joker right here: here’s the C’mon C’mon trailer.
As we’ve come to expect from Joaquin Phoenix, his latest film – C’mon, C’mon – has been earning strong critical reviews at film festivals ahead of its release early next month here in the UK. Now, A24 has released a new trailer for writer-director Mike Mills’ new black-and-white film which features Phoenix in the lead role.
Phoenix stars as a middle-aged radio journalist in this one, who forges a tenuous but transformational relationship with his precocious young nephew (Woody Norman) when they are unexpectedly thrown together on a cross-country trip.
Gaby Hoffman, Molly Webster, Jaboukie Young-White, and Scoot McNairy co-star in the film, which was shot in New York, L.A., Detroit and New Orleans between 2019 and 2020.
You can catch the trailer below, ahead of the film’s imminent release.
