The film is set to release in the US at least, on June 18th. There are no confirmed details as yet for a UK release, but we’ll let you know when we hear them. In the meantime, we’ll leave you with the film’s official synopsis:

‘The Birthday Cake tells the story of a young Italian man, Giovanni (Gio) who is reluctantly continuing his family tradition of bringing a cake to his Uncle’s house to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his father’s passing. It’s not long, however, before he witnesses a murder along the way that will force him to learn the truth behind his father’s death and change his life forever.’
