Catch your first glimpse of the next horror from one of the creators of V/H/S and You’re Next, Simon Barrett.

Simon Barrett, writer of V/H/S, the Blair Witch remake and You’re Next, has written and directed Seance.  It’s an upcoming horror set to release in the US in May. The film is getting a combined theatrical release alongside home formats release via Shudder in the States, whilst at the moment, no UK release date has been announced.

The film itself comes with the following synopsis:

Camille Meadows, the new girl at the prestigious Edelvine Academy for Girls. Soon after her arrival, six girls invite her to join them in a late night ritual, calling forth the spirit of a dead former student who reportedly haunts their halls. But before morning, one of the girls is dead, leaving the others wondering what they may have awakened.

Seance shot in November 2019, but like many projects filmed during that timeframe, has been subject to various delays.

We’ll let you know UK release details as we hear them, but in the meantime, check out the trailer below.
