Trailer launches for Benedict Cumberbatch as The Courier

Cold War thriller The Courier, based on a true story, is set to release in the US in March and you can catch your first glimpse here.

Previously titled Ironbark, upcoming film The Courier looks set to delve into Cold War-era drama. Benedict Cumberbatch plays British businessman Greville Wayne, who is tapped up by British intelligence services and the CIA to help them defuse the Cuban Missile Crisis by finding sensitive information.

Dominic Cook directs the film, which was originally set to release last year. Now, with a name change and a trailer launched, it’s all set to go, in the US at least, with a release date of March 19th via Lionsgate. The UK release is marked down at the moment for the same day.
