The animated comedy The Mitchells Vs The Machines – produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller – is set to arrive on Netflix at the end of next month.
We reported in January that Sony opted to sell the upcoming film, The Mitchells Vs The Machines to Netflix for a reported price of $110m. Originally, the movie was due to release last October until Sony reversed that decision based on the box-office numbers that Tenet was achieving during the post lockdown cinema re-openings.
Netflix actively pursued the deal and has acquired worldwide rights with the exception of China.
Chris Miller and Phil Lord have produced the movie, with Mike Rianda and Jeff Rowe co-directing. The film charts the fortunes of a family struggling to relate to one another whilst there is a technological uprising in the world outside.
We now a have a release date of April 30th, along with a new trailer to enjoy, so check it out ahead of the film’s imminent launch.
