The trailer has arrived for the star-packed Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre, starring Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza and Hugh Grant.

Well, here’s some welcome news: the trailer for Guy Ritchie’s next project has arrived, ahead of the film’s arrival in cinemas in January of 2022.

With a packed cast including Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone, and Hugh Grant, this project looks like it could be wildly entertaining, doubly so considering Guy Ritchie’s last film, Wrath Of Man, has been touted as a return to form for the British filmmaker.

The plot sounds fun, with Statham’s character, an MI6 agent who goes by the rather brilliant name of Orson Fortune, being paired up with a CIA tech expert played by Plaza, to stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology that could presumably end all life as we know it. Back when the project was announced, Plaza, clearly relishing the opportunity to co-star with Statham, threw down the gauntlet ahead of filming, boldly stating: “There’s no one more bada** than Statham – and I’m coming for Statham. He better watch out. Because I’m going to destroy him, and he’s going to like it.”

With the trailer now available, ahead of the film’s imminent release, you can now decide for yourself who might come out on top. We’re certainly excited for this one, and if you want a glimpse of the film ahead of January 21st, check out the trailer below.
